XINTEL SMS CALL BACK helps you to set up calls using SMS. It saves you money as you are not charged by your mobile service provider for when the SMS server calls you to initiate your calls.

How does it work?

Just send an SMS to Xintel's gateway number to activate a call connection. Our SMS server will call you back on your registered mobile before connecting the call to your desired destination phone number.

Compose SMS with the destination number and send
Send SMS to the SMS Call Back number provided
Your phone will ring within 60 seconds. You will be automatically connected to the party that you wish to speak to.

When you receive calls from our SMS server on your mobile phone, you will not be charged by your mobile service provider for the call. For folks traveling overseas, you can also use this service to save on International Roaming Charges. This is because you can take calls from another phone, whether it is on a fixed line or a mobile in Malaysia or overseas.

To set up a call from your mobile to a destination number

Write an SMS message with your desired destination number in the following format:

Example 1:

If you are calling a number in Australia, 0061422882288, your message should be: B0061422882288.

For calling within Malaysia, you do not need to include 00 and the country code.

To set up call from a telephone number to a destination number

Example 1:

You are in New Zealand and want to make a call to China, 008622552255. However you want to take the call from a direct line in New Zealand, 0064111222333. Your SMS should be as follows:

A0064111222333B008622552255

Example 2:

You are in Malaysia and want to make a call to Australia, 00613666555444. However you want to take the call from a fixed line number in Malaysia 0377887788. Your SMS should be as follows:

A0377887788B00613666555444

For calling within Malaysia, you do not need to include 00 and the country code.

For Column A (Connection Fee), rate per minute is charged in 6-second blocks

Overseas Calls

SMS Server calls back to Australia Fixed line and then to your destination country China. Get connection fee from Column A, RM0.13 per minute. Find out what you are currently charged by Xintel for making calls to China. Assuming it is RM0.33 per minute.

Total charge to Xintel is RM0.13 + RM0.33 = RM0.46 per minute.

Note:

You only need to pay your mobile phone provider the SMS charge to Xintel's gateway.

To avoid roaming charges and also for added convenience, you may want to purchase an overseas prepaid mobile card and register with Xintel. For example, if you travel to Singapore frequently, just register your Singapore prepaid mobile with Xintel. Now you can take the call from your new prepaid mobile instead of existing mobile. With this you do not have to pay international roaming charge.
For better convenience save our SMS gateway number in mobile phone book. You can save it as:

To ensure that SMS is successfully sent to our server, please turn on the delivery report on your mobile phone. Once the SMS is successfully sent, you will get the delivery report on the time and sent date of the SMS.
When the server is unable to call back, it will send you an SMS notification.
All SMS must be initiated from Xintel registered mobile.
All mobile phones which are registered with Xintel can start using the service now.
